“A sometimes eye-wateringly expensive op shop - from decent quality clothes to VHS tapes, you can bet the price tag will be out of this world. This is another that suffers from pricing that reflects how much a name is recognised by a volunteer on any one day, leading to vastly disproportionate prices on stuff no one cares about (John Farnham records; tapes of any kind).”
“Have just revisited this shop after not being there for a number of months, and found it is definately not as good as it used to be. Lady there kept calling me "love" and asked me several times if she could help, which I didnt need. The experience of op shopping is the "find" so found this annoying. Shop was sparse and those friendly volunteers are all gone? new staff and management? anyway, liked the old shop hands down. Very disappointing sorry.”
“This is the kind of opshop where fairies live inside the walls and happiness is sprinkles everywhere!! It's my kind of wonderful opshopping experience. Full of quirky eclectic personality. Artists and creative humans (like me) flock there for a 'OOAK' sparkle green jacket from the 1970's or a leather leopard skirt. It's the opshop off dreams and tangible realities. Bric-a-brac, collectibles and treasures are piled up high with funky displays and objects de arte that will mezmorize you. Prices are so cheap you'll feel embarrassed!! The volunteers are passionate and knowledgeable. You'll need time to explore this magical emporium!!🖼📷📚🛍👡🥁”
“This Op shop was giving away free books to the local kids today as a part of the Halloween 🎃 celebrations. Great work!”
“I’ve dropped off several bags of clothes, 2 complete dinner sets, kitchen stuff and so much more good quality stuff to the Asthma shop on three occasions recently. Each time the ladies were, without exception, rude and cranky - while only one person actually said, “Thankyou” her attitude and tone was rude and abrupt and DID NOT feel nice at all. I felt like they were all extremely angry and annoyed at me!(for giving them things to sell for a good cause wth?!) I’m asthmatic so I have good reason to support their great work however I’ll be dropping stuff off to the Salvos next time. 😔”
