“Sheila an Mary-jane ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FOR THOSE of you GETTING your KNICKERS IN A TWIST over "OP SHOP" PRICES… Let’s set the record straight. Take a deep breath. Loosen your grip. It’s time for a little truth hit. —— FOR THE RECORD —— This is NOT an Op Shop. It’s not pretending to be, it doesn’t dress like one, and definitely doesn’t walk around with a charity badge on its chest. {What it is.... is a bargain hunter’s paradise.} “it is an Opportunity to grab a bargain” So now that we've cleared that up, here’s why you should stop scrolling and start strolling into the store: To see what Sheila and Mary-Jane have on offer. The shop.! Is a Hot mess express and that’s half its charm. The shelves.! Are Overflowing like your mum’s Tupperware drawer. Bargains.! Falling from the ceiling. (Literally. Look up.) Customer service.! Is Like nowhere else – real, raw, and personal. It's Like a warm hug from your cool aunty who tells it like it is. Yes, there are some fancy-pants items with fancy-pants prices. But here’s a tip: if that item isn't in your budget, don’t throw a tantrum or kick up a stink. Take a step to your left, you might just find the same item for less. "You’re welcome". What kind of magic lives here, you ask? *Jewellery galore – sterling silver, and the occasional gold, shiny bits, sparkly bits, mysterious “what is that?!” bits. *Designer leather bags that whisper, “Take me home.” *Killer heels and boots you didn’t know you needed. *Evening dresses that scream red carpet. *Big names: R.M. Williams, Wrangler, Thomas Cook, Bullzye and vintage Levi. *Retro finds and collectible treasures *New- items with tags still on. Gear for when you want to tell people, “Oh this old thing.?" And if you’ve got clothes or stuff sitting in the boot of your car “waiting to be donated for the last 6 months”? Bring them in! We’ll takem off your hands with gratitude and maybe a cheeky compliment. So pop in, And Rummage around. Look up. Laugh a little. And leave with something fabulous that makes you smile.”
“I love going to this shop! Not only for the great variety of great items but love chatting with the 2 women who run this treasure trove. Keep up the great work ladies. You do an amazing job.”
“Not a pleasant experience. The shop needs to address safety issues. There is a step down in one area that looks like the path slants. It is not marked or sign posted. I took a terrible fall and badly hurt my ankle and my knees. The lady in charge told me that as I’ve had two knee replacements I should look where I’m going. Another old gent stumbled down as I was sitting on the floor. Speaking to another couple of locals they have had the same stumble. Suggested they look at resolving this issue it’s a lawsuit just waiting to happen!!!”
“My friend and I had a frightful experience in this shop. The lady that appeared to be in charge is not fit to work with the public. Initially she was complaining that my perfume was upsetting her hayfever. I get that, as I too suffer from hayfever.. But then she turned on my friend that was merely asking the price of something that had just been bagged,. Aaaaand that's when it started... I've not come across someone like that ever....Very nasty disposition and should consider a career change. She also turned on a co worker who appeared to be quite young. Felt sorry for the poor girl. They need to change their name from Boomerang op shop, because after what I saw and heard, it's doubtful anyone would go back..”
“Although the prices are good and plenty of stock the woman in charge, I presume the owner or manager is the most foul mouthed and rude person I have ever come across, merely because I asked how much something was, she has some serious anger problems and should not be Working near the public!! I just wish I had shoved my $25 worth of goods back in her face!!”
