“Such a great little gem. The shop has a great vibe, everything is organised well and easy to find what you're looking for. The staff are so friendly and the cheap prices are a bonus!!”
“Superb. This is where I take the left behind and unclaimed items from our laundromat. All items $2 dollars. Kids items $1 and baby clothes 50 cents. On Fridays they have a free drop in between 8.30am and 10.30am with free grocery packs for those in need...free sausage sizzle and free coffee and other hot drinks.”
“My daughter and I have volunteered at the Op shop randomly over the past couple of years, neither of us are particularly religious however we can honestly say this place genuinely cares for anyone that is in need of help or a sympathetic ear. The lady in charge Ann really sets the tone for the volunteers which is truly welcoming. The volunteers are always looking out for each other and are truly worth their weight in gold. Donations are always appreciated however big or small you leave feeling it was worth your time / effort.”
“This has got to be the best Op Shop on the southern end of the GC. Unlike many big Op Shops, everything is so affordable. Salvos down the road is $4 per book. Here it is 50cents, go figure. Clothing is cheap (my gf is always leaving with a bag full of clothes) as well as brick a brack. They have a goddam barista with $2 coffees. They always have good tunes playing. You can sit outside or inside on tables or couches. The staff are so welcoming and always up for a chat. Every Friday they give away bags of food and have a free sausage sizzle. Thank you for existing. Thank you for not just trying to make big profits off donated items and really looking out for the community!!”
“I love visiting the Church Op Shop at West Burleigh Heads it is my happy place, it's just down my street..." What a Pleasure"! As for all the staff they are an absolute treasure and a pleasure to be around they are so welcoming, caring and friendly. I tend to lose myself in there. They are a hard working, well organised, team, loads of bargains and treasures to be found...Hmm! The lad sure knows how to make a really good cuppa tea with a friendly smile..They always appreciate the freshly baked Banana Muffins or Banana Bread I take to them, from time to time it sure does brighten up their day...Which I find very rewarding... No questions asked will I be back.....Oh Yeah! I'll definitely be back. My favorite space on the Gold Coast. Regards Blanche Kirby.”
