“Lovely staff and a gorgeous collection of vintage clothing! Definitely worth checking out. They do alterations as well”
“If I could give a negative star rating, I absolutely would. Unfortunately, that’s not an option. I visited this shop this morning to have a new pair of pants shortened and taken in. The staff asked me to try on the pants so she could adjust the size to my preference. She informed me the alteration would cost $60, which I paid without issue. I casually mentioned that the cost of the alteration was more than the price of the pants themselves. Her response was incredibly rude and unprofessional—she immediately snapped back, saying, “We’re not the labor of China. If you want cheaper prices, go to China.” I was shocked by her attitude. I simply replied that if I wanted to go to China, I wouldn’t have come to her shop. I left the store feeling upset and hurt. I had no issue paying the $60, but I certainly didn’t expect such a mean and disrespectful reaction. It’s disappointing to encounter such hostility when all I was trying to do was get a simple service done. I left the shop with my pants and drove home with a heavy heart. I will never go there again. 😔”
“Would NOT recommend. Very poor customer service! Received a large quote and politely declined the service. Completely unprovoked, the owner lectured me about on how the quote “is reasonable” given the “item I’ve purchased was likely from china where it cost $5 for a child to make”, which is incorrect and an assumption about the brand. Not knowing any customer’s financial situation, went onto say that the cost of living “isn’t even bad” and this was what to expect. I took the item elsewhere and received a very reasonable quote with no comments on how/where I purchase my clothing or how the current economy may be impacting me. If your concerned about the customer service here just look at the responses to these reviews and that speaks for itself. Don’t waste you time. Go elsewhere.”
“I took a pair of pants to be taken up a few weeks ago and through some sort of communication break down on their end they ended up taking up my pair of pants twice. They offered to replace them, but as they were expensive I wanted to save them the cost ($150). In the end they added a hem and sewed material back on, not the look I had wanted, but made do with. The pants now have a hem where previously they shouldn’t have. I would have expected some sort of discount due to their mistake, but there was no further mention they just charged full price. I’ve been left feeling disappointed with the outcome and will be unsure about using their services again.”
“Excellent, friendly service. I paid extra for a fast turnaround, and they had it ready earlier than expected, which was super helpful. Understood my request & basic measurements without having to go into great detail. Results were spot on. Absolutely reccomend. Will be back.”
