“Always visit here with my wife when passing through or just a special trip to Gloucester. Huge range of 2nd hand books at a very reasonable price. Run by knowledgeable volunteers and the money goes back to the needy in the community. Well done ladies 👍🏻”

“Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very large stock of books. Some specialised areas often have very small numbers. Will be closed much of March 2025 with upgrades to facilities for volunteers. A need is a coffee machine it makes for extended visits and a more socially acceptable visit. A self service one that only put minimal extra work for volunteers ie refills of raw ingredients but then a source of income.i know you can go across the road but I know often get distracted and miss going back. Also maintains the customer contact time, what's better then enjoying book browsing with a coffee”

“I always pop in whenever I get the chance to visit family in Gloucester. I purchased 20 odd books from here ranging from $1 - $5 that helped me get through university and graduate. I've also found some of my now favourite novels just browsing through the aisles, and some rare books I cannot find elsewhere. The volunteers do a fantastic job here and I'm always excited to visit.
