“The retail assistant was lovely but would never consign there again. I have meticulously hung and brought in great brands with new tags. Knocked back on brand new bags from high profile brands like Gorman. Clothes from Zara, Blue Illusion, Sports craft, Country Road etc knocked back. This would be fine except there are old frayed, stained, items on the floor! So frustrating and so subjective to whoever you are served by. All store assistants under 30 so perhaps that is it. I know these items would have sold quickly for 30+. Short sighted approach to this concept. Hobart needs a mid market, quality store that caters for different ages as fashion is largely timeless these days. The absolute rubbish I flicked through perplexes me. Waste of time preparing to consign there.”

“I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at this store. Upon bringing in a selection of clothing, including some brand new items priced over $200 and others from well-known fast-fashion brands such as Zara, I was met with a disheartening response from one of your sales representatives. Despite the fact that some of the clothing did not align with her personal taste, which I fully understand as a valid reason for refusal, the sales representative proceeded to publicly declare in front of other customers that the items were of low quality. This statement was not only unwarranted but also made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. The funny thing is that it's pretty obvious her standards for quality are inconsistent, considering the store sells plenty of pilled clothes. And I understand people can’t know all of brand from all the world, but please ask google or chatgpt. Otherwise, it would be quite amusing for her to claim they're from unknown brands and of very low quality.”

“I have to admit I was little hesitant first, as an middle aged women with a different look on style, especially after reading some of the previous reviews, but I thought I would give it a try. Happy I did! The staff was more then helpful and professional in explaining and choosing my consignment, I found it to be an pleasant experience. To my enjoyment I found some beautiful vintage pieces that made me happy to come back again for a second time to do this whole thing again. So both as a consignor and buyer, its a must, to pop in to goodbyes Hobart to check out their new stock, you never know if you come across something beautiful vintage that's not easily found in this fast fashion culture we live in.
