Hippopotamus Pawnbrokers

“Very friendly and helpful. Respond quickly for online purchases too.”

“I love this shop always buy way too much when I visit. There are so many interesting items to buy. Staff are awesome but I must say I miss Stefanie’s friendly smile, but the current staff are just as friendly.”

“I placed an enquiry for a fitness watch that I noticed advertised overnight and the next day my email was attended to as soon as the store opened. I ordered and paid online with them and their service was perfect. Thank you.”

“Staff are unless failed to tell me that my item was overdue and said if i collected on a certain day It would be so much and if i come a day later that my account would be charged a month extra i said that was okay as I got paid after and would have to pay the extra months fee that was no problem went to go collect today and called to have item ready and was told they Sold my item the week after I spoke with them.”

“Truely excellent service. I noticed an advertisement on Gumtree and thought that I would make a phone call to get a true appraisal of the item from the staff. Additional photos were sent along with a very reasonable postage quote and a price reduction of the item into the bargain. All my questions were answered politely. When I asked to test a couple of functions to make sure that everything was working correctly, no hesitation and happy to accommodate. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured. When I was happy with everything, an invoice was promptly sent to me via PayPal which I obviously paid. The item arrived 4 business days later here in Waurn Ponds, safe and sound, exactly as the pictures showed and working perfectly. VERY, VERY happy and would certainly do business with these people again. Thank you so much for your wonderful service!!”
