“Closed Down”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with how this situation turned out, and it feels like a complete waste of time for both sides. I had arranged a pickup for a donated lounge two weeks in advance, thinking this would be a straightforward process. Having seen previous reviews where lounges had been rejected for things like cigarette smells, I made it clear that the lounge I was donating came from a kid, pet, and smoke-free home. It’s over 10 years old, but it’s been well-maintained, professionally cleaned, and in good condition overall. When the driver arrived, there was an issue with one reclining section that has a bit of difficulty closing. However, when all the pieces are put together, it functions just fine. The driver was willing to take the chaise part of the lounge, which is also secondhand but has been carefully looked after, despite being used by kids (previous owners). Going forward, it might be a good idea to exchange photos and videos of any donated items beforehand to avoid this kind of misunderstanding. That way, everyone’s expectations are clear, and no one’s time is wasted.”

“These guys were super helpful”

“A very gracious group of people greeted us and the donations we had to drop off. Very busy place but everyone was helpful and met us with smiles despite how busy they were. Thank you.”

“Mostly furniture like Fantastic Furniture and about the same price. Very disappointed in the stuff THROWN out into the garbage. Some of it was new.”
