“Fantastic shop raising money for much needed mental health services. I’m disappointed to read the other comments complaining about the (very reasonable) prices. The WHOLE POINT of Lifeline stores is to raise money to fund Lifeline. The clothes in the Mona Vale store tend to be good quality & the price reflects that. This particular area can support these prices for the quality offered. I’m sorry that some people are confused about this & I think the reviews they have left are unbelievably ignorant. So, once more for the people in the back; Lifeline stores are fundraising stores. If you’re looking for super cheap clothes, maybe spend more time on that endeavour & less time punching down on a charity & its volunteers.”
“This is not like the usual Lifeline Store I'm used to at Woy Woy where I usually shop for actual cheap clothes. I usually pay $5-$8 for skirts and tops. Occasionally maybe $10-$12. Not $30. Woy Woy lifeline best organised op-shop ever. This is disappointing.”
“If I could give zero stars I would. I thought life line shops where meant to help the less fortunate and people in general, buy things they would not normally be able to afford? Not make them feel uncomfortable 😣 and then not give my money back once i realised what I was buying was damaged on the inside. She still had my $20 in hand, when she so rudely just said “no” when I said “ so sorry, I do not want to buy this anymore” she just shut the til and said “I don’t do refunds” there was no sign saying they do not do refunds anywhere. When I mentioned this she shrugged her shoulders and began to ignore my partner and I. I feel like I have been robbed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Very rude and no empathy. I truly hope their proceedings go to charity like they say however after my experience I am not so sure. Please be careful when buying from here. They seem nice and lovely but they care about nothing but the money.”
