“This has a lot of great items to buy, BUT the prices on 99% of the items are very high. Some items you can buy NEW for the same price or cheaper. Water jugs from here are 15 to 32 dollars when I brought the same elsewhere for 12 dollars weeks earlier.”
“Staff were rude. I lost my card and one male staff member made a crack at no one using wallets anymore, then turned back to the customer he was serving. The other male staff at the counter (there were 3 for who knows why for only 1 counter) made a crack at the other customer in a very negative way. I unfortunately do not remember the exact word but along the lines of *god stop being so annoying* to this customer (might be a regular as i think they knew his name). When that customer was done and walked out this staff member walked away huffing and rolling his eyes. When i went back to the store about an hour later someone did find my card when i got back in but i do not appreciate a female staff starting her its Gods plan it worked this way at me. Be religious all you like but please dont assume everyone else is. I am not going back.”
“All items are extremely overpriced. If you want to find some affordable clothing go across the road to Salvos. I went into Lifeline and everything was too expensive and left the store with nothing. I went to Salvos and left the store with 3 shirts, a pair of shorts and a pair of shoes, all for the same price as a pair of jeans at this Lifeline. It is understandable Lifeline is trying to raise funds for charity, but raising the prices on clothing that isn’t actually worth what they are charging for it will drive people away like it did for my partner and I.”
“Overpriced you can purchase cheaper from Kmart or Big W. And yes they do pay rent for this store and the former bookshop no long open. Please open another bookstore in Brendale”
“I would call this a boutique that sells second hand goods. It is definitely priced as a boutique store. It is a massive space that houses ALOT of varied stock. Plenty of parking is on site Staff were helpful with my enquiries. Ladieswear is the main stock. With accessories and shoes available. The men's section is well stocked again with accessories for men & shoes. The children's area covers clothing, toys and games. Clothing in sections is sorted by sizing & type. There is also plenty of books and DVDs available. General kitchenware, manchester, electrical and craft items. An area dedicated to retro/ vintage wear available too.”
