“The staff at the Wilson's Rd op shop Mornington are very helpful. I bought 2 dolls cots today and had to carry them to my car. The very helpful grey headed gentleman with glasses, sprang to my rescue and carried them for me. You don't get that kind of service in the Mornington main St salvos!”

“The bargains for kids were soooo good! Glad I popped in. A little squishy but the way they discounted the kids stuff was so good! The gentleman running it was lovely too. Just a suggestion they may want to extend their trading hours to 5pm as it super busy before close.”

“I had a horrible experience here the other day. For starters, the hours of this place are so bad. No one working a 9-5 full time job would ever make it. But I managed to rush down at 3:45 last Friday and walked in to a packed shop. The staff instead of welcoming this were increasingly rude. Remarks like “oh my god we are about to close, no more people” kept being made. There was then a constant countdown, “5 minutes left. Stop shopping. Go to the counter. You cannot try anything on” were being yelled. I was approached by 2 old women volunteering, “stop looking. Head to the counter right now. We shut in 4 minutes”. I was then physically stopped from going further, “no. Turn around and pay”. I’ve never experienced anything like this and I op shop all the time!!! Normally it’s a friendly “we close in 5 minutes, please finalise your purchases”, not physically barricading people, yelling at them, carrying on like being in the shop a few minutes longer will kill you. One lady then asked me if I had cash to just give her to “hurry this up and get you out”. It’s such a shame because there’s good selection, prices are reasonable and they often donate to good causes. Never, ever again will I support this so called god loving shop. The way we were all treated was like we were scum of the earth.”

“I have loved this op shop for years and the workers have always been lovely, but today an older woman who was a worker approached me minding my own business and said “you might want to try another rack” and looked me up and down and said “these sizes only go up to a size 14”, like it is so unbelievably inappropriate to make comments like that, this lady needs to learn some social skills. So disappointed. Will NOT be coming back.”

“Best op shop in Melbourne by a mile. Beautiful staff, great prices and with an amazing array of products. I also love that they support local and international humanitarian issues and value their contribution to the Mornington community”
