“Brenda (an elderly 'lady') was so nasty, mean and horrible to me and my husband as she bossed me around, called me 'girl' when I am 49 years old and told me to stop looking at other items and to hurry up! - We had 30mins before the store closed. So i lovingly informed Brenda I had the worst day imaginable already without her adding to it with her disgusting customer service skills. She looked at me shrugged and smirked and said "probably because Im tired, I want to go home". I said thats no excuse to treat any customer like that but her inflated pride and ego were unable to say I am sorry for my appalling prejudice lack of caring for you as a paying customer let alone a fellow human being. Op shop, Myer, supermarket, servo's, the Hyatt - wherever- EVERYONE should be treated with respect & dignity at ALL times. We love Alexander but whoever owns that lovely community outreach shop needs to rethink their staffing options. We felt sooooo sorry for the mum, kids and three ladies that went in after us!”
