“I've been here many times during holiday visits to Apollo Bay and usually come away with a bargain as I have today. Usually books, a tshirt or a retro vinyl record. Contrary to some negative reviews, I have found the volunteers to be helpful and friendly. If you're having an extended stay and like op shops, then try visiting multiple times as stock changes.”
“rude customer service, absolute attitude. found a jacket on the $8 rack lady took it out the back saying it “needed to be priced” came back and it was $25 dollars, unbelievable.”
“All these reviews about the ladies being rude are unfounded. Respect is a two-way street and you can’t cross it expecting the world if you’re not willing to be kind. Great servise and great prices - although some of the shoes needed to be binned as the soles were crumbling and beyond saving”
“The ladies in the shop should really not talk rudely about customers behind their back while in the changeroom, and I his wife standing right next to counter while you were both laughing at him saying I had walked off looking for him. Disgusting behaviour, a bit of customer service wouldn't go astray!”
“Came here twice whilst doing the great ocean road trips, once Wednesday 17th and once Thursday 18th and closed both times… there were about 3-4 women inside and when I tried knocking to ask when they’d be open they all just ignored me. I get that you need to restock and shut the shop at times but you’re turning away potential customers during supposed ‘opening hours’. There is 0 consideration that tourists detour to come to this place - please stick to your opening hours! I could see it was staffed inside!”
