“Good selection, prices were reasonable, better than their counterparts next door ( Vinnies) with helpful and friendly service.”

“Wouldn't let my 4 yr old use their bathroom and instructed us to get in the car and go to the nearest service station. This, combined with the over-priced, poor quality stock doesn't really inspire me to spend money in their store.”

“I will never donate to this Salvos again. I tried to do the right thing today and drop off luggage that we no longer need to a salvos store as it is still in good condition and I thought another family could benefit from using it. However the older lady who greeted me at the door when I dropped the luggage off proceeded to berate me with no concern for what my circumstance is and what had led me to donate the luggage. She proceeded to question me about my concern for the environment, told me i should have reused the luggage in some way "as it will only go to landfill", asked me extremely personal questions, then asked if i have any kids because and i quite, by donating that luggage "i am leaving behind a worse planet for my children". I did not go to donate this luggage with the intention of being ridiculed and spoken down to when I thought I was doing the right thing by donating.”

“Staff member was holding up items of clothing speaking very loudly about the fact she thought it was pointless and stated you shouldn’t show your belly the entire store could hear her and I found it very judgemental and extremely rude won’t be returning not to mention they have pjs marked 35$ when they sell at big w for 25$ goes to show they aren’t a charity just ripping people off very unfair”

“I attempted to donate some goods to the Salvos, as I was moving house and found items I no longer needed. The staff assisted me, but when they looked at the goods, they informed me that they could not take them. The staff were helpful and informative. However, this one star review will be a reflection for the Salvo's operation of a business rather than a charity, as I was told by one staff member that I would be better off throwing out everything instead of donating it. The items I have were not of inferior quality that would warrant them being tossed into landfill. This one star review will be a reflection of the attitude the Salvos have towards donation and instead of encouraging other locations, they encourage you bin it. Disgusting.”
