“I find this store so expensive, looked in the window today and there is a lounge close to the $2000 price tag sitting there. I don’t know how you people price things there but seriously nearly $2000 for a lounge someone donated to you is disgusting for a volunteer run store. I can buy a brand new one for that price, who cares if it’s an electric recliner/leather it was donated. Stop ripping of the poor people.”

“I was desperate for some clothing options that are not cropped. Someone suggested salvos as it has fashion from all the years. I don't drive so the opportunity to get to this location to shop was rare. I got there and intended to leave by 5pm of their closing time but the volunteers are so rude they keep yelling they're closing and registers closing and what not. Even though your stuck waiting in the line which could have been used to carefully select items or shop. I paid for 2 items that are way too small and I'm angry at myself that I didn't just quickly tried it on but the anxiety of the ladies yelling made me freak out and bought it. I'm already a boarder of old clothes that don't fit me, and now I have more. I was really desperate for items that actually fit me. I will try another location but I really thought salvos volunteers are supposed to be kind and empathetic. These ladies belong to a chain that is for profit / commission not a space where people like myself are desperate on low income to be met with additional anxiety of being there within their trading gours”

“Plenty of parking available given location of store. This is a large store that’s well laid out. Ladies volunteering here were erring on the side of rude. We were the last customers in store and they chased us out with 10 minutes left before closing to lock up. This store had a lot of cheaper brands for sale - Kmart, Cotton On, Supre for instance. Despite this we still managed to get a couple of things which I’m pleased about. Come back? Not sure.”

“Friendly staffs - David, Anita, Jenny I met so far…👍👍👍a whole range of kitchenwares, clothes, shoes, Manchesters, jewelleries, toiletries, furnitures and more on bigger space displays abd located accessible to malls eateries transports highly recommended 🥳🐾 oh dog friendly allowed my well trained well behaved Japanese Spitz and they’re friendly to her too 🥰🐾🐶”

“Happy with my purchases of small homeware items. Prices are reasonable. Store is roomy, easy to walk around. There are lots of clothes but they smell like sweat. Found a brand new dress made in Australia for just $8. Not many vinyl records which is personally disappointing. There is a limited number of cassettes. Staffs are pleasant to talk to when asked a question. Another great Salvos store to revisit when in the area. Catch a bus from Lidcombe station.”
