“Updating my review from one star to four, this shop has turned around, the pricing seems much more manageable for everyone, the cheap stuff is cheap enough and the expensive items can still be bought at a reasonable price, hence better turnover of stock and more money for salvos to help others. Well done to all involved, the staff are happy and friendly is seems now, always smiling and saying hello which is terrific customer service.”

“No opportunity in this op shop. Ridiculously expensive!!!!!!! Was just served by the rudest woman. Tried to charge $9 for a pair of jeans. After I declined she proceeded to tell me that they are not trying to help the community by making things affordable but all they do is raise money!! Disgusting!!!!! Avoid by all means! The lions op shop and st marks church in dromana were very friendly and priced how op shops should be.”

“The items in the store were very expensive incl an item I purchased that the exact item brand new was selling cheaper in the reject shop! What crooks they are at this op shop! The prices are far too high for 2nd hand goods!! The clothes are extremely expensive considering they are 2nd hand and not new!!”

“Went to the Salvation Army thrift store in Dromana. I am currently 8months pregnant and after being in there for 45 minutes I started to feel a bit faint and dropped my mask below my nose to breathe as I thought I was going to pass out. The assistant by the name of Michelle abruptly asked me to lift my mask. Which I then explained that I was feeling very faint and a little dizzy. Her response to me was “well I’ve been wearing my mask for 8 hours everyday and unless you have an exemption you have to wear it”. Terrible show of any sort of empathy and rolled her eyes after I explained I was pregnant and couldn’t breath. I walked outside to get some fresh air and my mother in law completed the purchase. Very distressed knowing I wasn’t feeling well and no one even offered for me to sit down or have a glass of water or show any concern at all. And this is supposed to be a caring charity! We are big supporters of the Salvation Army and the charity work they do, but obviously this didn’t come through their employee today. Very disappointed. I will be speaking with management regarding their poor customers service.”
