Salvos Stores Somerville

“Great choice of clothes. Found a vintage set of kitchen scales. Friendly staff.”

“The range of items is very good. The prices are great too. The staff are genuinely lovely except there's one staff member who has been quite rude to me on 2 or 3 occasions. Making fun of what I'm buying. Making a couple of quite rude, sexist remarks. Last time l was there, she was belittling another male customer quite openly to someone else when she thought he was out of earshot. l let her know that l didn't appreciate the sexist remarks. Though she just laughed it off. Very odd behaviour.”

“I love to go here everytime I have a chance, but my last visit is not that great, the guy who assisted me to have a look in the items inside the cabinet is rude to me not allowing me to touch the item unless I buy it first. I understand that it could be because of this Covid thing but he could just wipe it after. So rude.”

“I pop into this store every now and then. The staff are bright and cheery. The quality of their donations is very good, and the prices reflect this for the really good quality items, particularly clothing. Everything else is fairly priced. They display their goods very well and artfully. I find it a pleasure to look around, and usually find a treasure. Thank goodness for the volunteers, without you the world would be a grey, lonely place. When I do a clear out, I take items here as there is plenty of parking, and I can reverse in close to the door. I never throw anything out if it can be recycled elsewhere.”

“This place has great staff bar the "unhappy man who never talks to us or smiles "...the discounts on certain days is great. I've bought alot of lovely "ts" clothes ect....at really fabulous prices. I always come awaywith a bargain a smile and not a attitude because of bad staff. Well done Salvos and staff at Somerville.”
