“After reading complaints about Sonya i sought this store out...and was served by Sonya! Any reviews complaining about this woman I guarantee they went into an op shop and expected royal treatment. Someone spent almost $100 and thought that entitled them to stock not yet on the floor. Sonya was perfectly pleasant and gave quick service! Anyone who's complained via reviews should take a hard look at themselves.”

“I have supported salvos store in subiaco for many years as my husband had business there. It has got worse and worse of late . Very pricey and very rude staff. I see from other reviews that there are others that have experienced the same . Yesterday I purchased items to the value of $98.00. When I paid I asked the lady (blonde with an accent) , if I could please see one of the 2 jackets that were hanging behind the counter ready to be placed on the racks for sale. My request was bluntly denied with a “NO”. No sorry , no nothing , just “NO.”. I was embarrassed by this woman’s blunt, outright rudeness, as were the other people waiting to pay . I will not be returning , and believe me , everything i donated went here . No more ! I will be dealing with the consignment shop opposite on Rokeby Road”

“I cannot believe how rude one staff member was Sonya. I returned a “hydroflask” drink bottle to them because when I got it home I noticed the lettering was off. I could tell it was a fake hydroflask so tested it for lead (I am an environmental scientist). It tested positive. I told her this and she just stared at me like I’d personally insulted her. I said again it has lead and she just smirked at me. I finally said I want to confirm you won’t sell it as it’s dangerous and she replied that’s not up to me. I asked to speak to manager who was very gracious. I do this for a living. Lead kills, beware of this shop and their disregard for your health. Lots of pottery including plates, mugs etc (especially painted) contains lead. They are obviously not tested there. Photo shows the lettering is wrong (the a) Recommended investing in a lead kit if you regularly buy pottery and avoid fakes.”

“A magical building and a good selection of things. This place takes me back to the cubbies in Byron Bay or Pattie’s Vintage in Los Angeles. They have some good jewellery here and such a. Wide variety of shoes. I wisdom say for such a small shop they do try to do everything and I think they’d be better off doing less things but do them well. Because it had a little of a hard sale cluttered vibe to parts of it, but a part from that I thought it was genuinely darling.”
