Salvos Stores Whitfords

“Oh my goodness, please rethink the bric a brac shelves. The prices are ridiculous and the area is sparse and ugly. I’ve seen piles of donated items dumped out the back in a skip…. Why?”

“I got interogated by a rude woman from this store as I was putting stuff in the donation bins outside the shop. She told me I needed to sort out toys and clothes into separate bags before I drop them off. So I took me stuff to Vinnies who were very grateful and polite. Come on Salvo's - read your reviews... this store is getting a bad reputation because of this rude woman - time to move her on!”

“$17 dollars for a used top outrageous, when I asked them to give me a discount as there were some stains on it they said no because it’s princess Polly brand when it’s Cleary a used top. So disappointing and to think this is also a store for people who are not so fortunate to buy new clothes prices are getting similar to brand new clothing which is not good horrible in fact.”

“Denied my use of my student card on a day they take them. Said it was expired when it wasn’t. Always have problems at this store”

“Generally liked going to this store however the prices are going up and are far too expensive for second hand and the last 2 times I was in the store was treated quite rudely. My last trip I arrived at 4:40 with 20 mins left to shop (website says it closes at 5:00pm) and after walking in the store the shop attendants turned out all the lights in the store minus the light over the counter and started shouting out to the number of people in the shop that we needed to make our way to the check out. Felt this was a very rude way to treat people who were genuinely interested in shopping in this store who had plenty of time to check out. A very unfriendly way to treat people and unfortunately I will be avoiding this op shop now.”
