“Multiple moldy items marked up sky high a bike carriage completely riddled with black mold everywhere marked up to $90 and baby items moldy, I don't care what charity this money goes to but people deserve nice things at cheaper prices, your items should not be risking people's health this is a health risk And your prices shouldn't be based on retail prices they should be based on common sense mark stuff cheaper a towel doesn't even need to be $25 it needs to be $1, a cot should be $10 for example take a good look at your morals, some of your kids toys ive brought to cashiers attention for being dangerously broken even baby toys plastic broken in some places that if a baby got it theyd probably scratch their eyes out with it but you guys have it on your shelves it goes to charity but you dont need to be takimg advantage of the poor to get it this is cheating and taking advantage of the poor, even the poor can't afford op shop prices anymore”
“Staff at this store are very rude. A worker spoke to my daughter very rudely and when I addressed the worker I got a “well I’m sorry!” in a tone that was not at all sorry. My daughter was told that the piano was not yo be touched and there was a sign. There was in fact not a sign and my daughter was in the children’s section not near the piano. Quite frankly the clothing is also overpriced for the quality. We will not be supporting this charity again.”
“Great selection of women’s clothes and for reasonable prices too (most of the items I got were between $7 to $9). However whilst I was there I came across a blazer with no price tag so I had asked them to give me a price for it, keeping in mind I did already have another blazer which was practically the same but different colour and they doubled the price, not sure how they got to that figure (hence the 4 stars) still will be back however, love to support local op shops.”
“If i could give no star rating i would have. Went there today an couldn't believe the blatant ripping off in prices. 1 lady volunteer said to another volunteer behind the counter to get a specific worker to price the Bamberry scarf because its a 'Bamberry' an when I left in disgust a fella that works there turned away 2 cars wanting to donate because he had too much outside to deal with. Well maybe if you priced your DONATED items reasonably your shop would turn over more stock and have more floor space. Don't know who does the pricing because the $$ your chasing for items are far fetched. Eg. Pair of 2nd hand 'Dior' (could have been a copy) sunnies were priced at $299. Cash converters are cheaper. The wrapping of the books in clear plastic with someone giving their comentary and condition opinion an unrealistic pricing on the overpriced books was a joke. If I want to pay retail prices I'd shop to buy brand new. Absolutely floored by this shop so I went 50 metres around the corner to Lifeline where I walked out with an armful of stuff, spent money for realistically priced items.”
“Everything has been picked over with a fine tooth comb and prices referenced off eBay prices (as listed on the tags) so if you like to go op shopping to hunt and find a gem (really who doesn’t)...this isn’t the store for you. They have printed up special labels that say “Vintage” and “Retro” which is simply code for...prepare to pay more! Anything under these labels is overpriced for an op shop but cheaper than you would pay at a vintage store. It is a good sized store, there are lots of books and clothes, very little furniture. Everything is a little overpriced, even the books and junky stuff.”
