“Lovely shop staffed by some lovely volunteers. Very neat and well organised.”
“Fantastic variety and extensive book section coupled with warm and friendly staff make this place a great experience. I'm always touched at how much they do for the local community, truly a wonderful asset to the people of Terang :)”
“Too expensive, considering the goods are donated. They are running it like an Antique store. I was gob smacked at some of the ridiculous asking prices. With most items displaying a much higher ticket price than similar items for sale in the second hand retail market. Fair enough with the gold jewellery, I accept that. But at some point, you have to draw the line between a fair asking price and down and out greed. Who ever is doing their so called "valuations" has lost touch with the current trends. At the end of the day, something is only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it. Even one of the volunteers showed me a broken toy and said it was past it's useful life, but they were still asking stupid money for it. Extremely disappointed.”
“This is very similar to visiting Aladdin's Cave. You just never know what you are going to find. Prices are very fair, and sometimes they even have a $5 bag sale. Whatever you need for your home can be found at the Terang Op Shop, but the best thing of all is the money gets donated back into the Terang community and the volunteers can have some input into where to donate.”
“Went to make a purchase of 2 clothing items they told me there was suppose to be tags on there and there weren’t of $20 each. I just walked out because that’s what it’s valued brand new and this stuff was worn condition. Never again!!”
