“I went after a hiking in Werribee George and an old lady were doing discriminative comments that I should speak English because I was in Australia and they speak English, my husband is Australian same as I and we speak also Spanish , we were talking between us , I don't see the problem and I can not believe this behave here and also in a customer service position. This lady was completely wrong with her discriminative comments, super sad and upset with that situation. The are enough bad people in the world, we need to be more tolerant, specially for a high diverse country as Australia. Horrible experience and I still traumatized 😔”

“Sorry to say to we experienced a disgusting racist attack here on 20/1/24. An old lady working in the store passively aggressively said that we couldnt speak Spanish, only English. As an Australian who speaks Spanish as a second language, this was the lowest bar I have ever experienced in my whole life. Surely in a country where more than 50% of us are from overseas or have multicultural decent, this is completely ridiculous, let alone rude and offensive. I didnt expect this at all and less so in a Vinnies store.”
