“Love popping into op shops and having a look and buying few things knowing my cash is going to a worthy cause. Friendly staff and that’s the way it has been most of the time. But I believe the shop has really lost its way with pricing and item identification. It seems any old furniture is tagged “antique “ and a corresponding sale price. I find this slightly misleading and moderately offensive. We all love our little op shops and the community spirit from the volunteers is commendable. I feel it’s the individual shop managers that have upgraded themselves into “antique “dealers and unqualified ones at that. Let’s bring back the op shops to what they once use to be, let’s not forget that the products sold at these shops have been lovingly donated and I’m sure we’re not meant to be represented as something they are not. I full support and encourage people to visit these shops and pick up that little treasure and donate to the needy by way of purchase of these items at a reasonable cost. Op shops should have no need to compete with mainstream shops. Please when putting on managers remind them it’s a OP shop.”

“OMG! What can I say. Best priced opportunity shop in Bayside. Great selection. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The place is clean, bright and well layed out. I love rummaging through their half priced and $1 racks; lots of great bargains and changes every week. The Goto for shops to drop off their overstock and last season's items. Lots of designer items (local and international designers) brands - many brand new or near new. be there at the right time as it gets snapped up pretty quickly as sooo well priced. It's almost a crime. Always a pleasure to shop here. Not only do we pick up a bargain (brand new Badgley Mischka heels for $15 (rep $350) or brand new Italian lambskin designer jacket for $25 (rep $500)), we save on landfill, save the environment and help Vinnie support community programs for the needy.
