“Unfortunately, a lot of issues need to be addressed at this store. I have religiously visited the morley store since they first opened, at least once a week, for many years at this point, and ever since they shut down for renovations and reopened - which also coincided with a change of store manager, this store has gone downhill. Don't get me wrong, it is neat, and has plenty of great items to look at, but a number of the staff here now are the issue. Not one, not two, but three times now, I have been shopping and heard the older female staff talking amongst themselves disgustingly about their co workers and making absolutely shocking racist remarks. I have anger issues, and once I initiate confrontation, the situation can quickly blow up and get out of hand, so I have kept my mouth shut and left the shop on 3 separate occasions because I couldn't stand to see/hear what I was witnessing and I also did not want to potentially be banned from the store for my potential outburst. I will never return. There are 5 individual female staff that are despicably racist towards aboriginal/indigenous customers and people in general. The store manager is passive aggressive and just blatantly rude. The 5 staff members deserve absolutely no forgiveness for their remarks and actions. I will add that they 3 of them are very clearly immigrants, and I am too, but I respect the indigenous and humans IN GENERAL. They make vinnies as an organisation look terrible and do not share the values that vinnies stand for. I will happily communicate further if someone from vinnies reaches out to me via this post. Shame on you disgusting old women, with nothing better to do than to ridicule and shame people for their race.”
