“I've been to a lot of op-shops, and this is one of the best. As a plus-sized gal, I really appreciate that clothing is sorted by size (not colour, thank goodness). Even better, the women's clothing sized 18+ are actually decent quality, and not just Anko or Shein pieces basically already disintegrating off the hangers. Those who can't do stairs need not worry. The store entrance is a ramp with railings, and there is a large elevator at the back of the shop, so you can still peruse clothing on the second floor. So often, this isn't an option in op-shops, and I love the way accessibility has obviously been more than considered here. Thank you to the team at Be Uplifted Inc. You are one of Brisbane's best op-shops.”

“Horrible experience with a very negative woman behind the counter there today at about 10am who huffed and rolled her eyes to inform me they had way too much stock (despite me calling the day before to see if what I had would be welcome). I had over a hundred items, all excellent quality, folded and in new storage containers with a lot of name brands like Country Road, Guess, Witchery etc. half of which were new and had never been worn plus about a dozen pairs of new shoes and 2 x wigs valued at about $1500.00 new. These were all pre-owned by my Mum who died this year of cancer and my father had researched this store as the one he thought Mum would most like to donate to because other women would benefit. But it was not to be and since it was all so hard for this woman and her overstocked store, we went around the corner and were happily greeted by Vinnies.”

“Happened upon this place while on my way somewhere. Massive size for an op shop. 2 levels of space with clothing separated upstairs. The sizes are organised separately on each rack. And well displayed by range such as dresses, skirts, activewear etc. Downstairs where you enter on street level is a range of items. Manchester, sporting, homewares, bric a brac, books, kids space ( sorted into books, toys etc) craft & many other items. There are also new items handmade to be purchased. This is a cancer charity business with its main aim to support those going through cancer diagnosis & treatment. They did have a markdown area where all clothing was $2. Pricing itself appeared to be all over the place. While pursuing the racks, listening to the people who work there, it appears they have tried to put in place a pricing system, but not sure a blanket approach works for everything. Regardless of my personal opinion, the money goes to a worthy cause & I still found a couple of good buys worth the trip. Parking is available onsite conveniently immediately next to building. Staff were extremely helpful & very pleasant to be served by.”

“This op shop feels like a hand crafter's dream or visiting the home of a matron. I love looking at the beautiful quilts, they are very well-made when you see them up close.”

“This place is amazing! Staff great & goods for sale well priced. No bad smell or bugs around. Goods turnover is quick. Such a worthwhile charity helping people in Brisbane and totally volunteer run.”
