“31st December 2019. Got a DSi as it’s the last one in stock but paied $45 but totally worth it. Would be recommended for people to buy electronics. 6th May 2023. This store is and has been very good after multiple visits to the store throughout the 2020s decade. Prices are inconsistent, but luckily when I come to the store, I know what I'm getting because I find stuff on the webshop prior to the visit. I bought numerous video games and other items, to which I bought a $10 scientific calculator here even though I was looking for a $15 calculator from the webshop on this store. When it comes to selling stuff to cashies, it's okay (just depends on what you give to cashies). Just remember to try to sell stuff on eBay or other e-commerce sites before trading in your items. Maybe try a garage sale too, and if your items are not sold in a garage sale, then come to cashies. A big shout out to Steve for excellent pricing of items being traded in for a cashies, a big shout out to Mitchell (not sure if he still works here) for excellent service, and a big shout out to Karen for great service. Just make sure not to do loans here unless you absolutely have to because interest rates are like 35% onward, which I think the maximum interest rates have been lowered compared to past years thanks to our previous governments. If you cannot afford anything from cashies unless you absolutely need it, don't buy it. But once again, prices are inconsistent and there are many good prices and some expensive prices, like a DS Lite for $120. Overall, I will come back to the store again when I need something from here or want. 14th August 2023. It's still a great pawnshop. Offers at this place for selling your goods are better than at other Cash Converters from reading other reviews elsewhere. This is now the last proper Cash Converters in the Western Suburbs, otherwise you've got Geelong, South Melbourne, Melbourne CBD, and Glenroy. Delahey/Taylors Lakes is closed according to Google Maps for some reason, Yarraville is completely shut, and Sunshine is closed due to a fire that happened months ago. There's always a couple of Buy and Loans places nearby (Melton, Sunbury, and Corio) but they don't have the full stock unlike the proper CC's stores. Items at this store are high quality and usually have a 90 day warranty which I haven't needed to use because of the quality of my items I've bought. There is a great turnover from items in this store which most items sell within 4 months and highly sought after items sell quickly within a month. After a month, there are good budget friendly under $50 items that turn up in the shop. DVDs at this store are generally a miss considering lots of DVDs for sale are old TV shows from 15-20 years ago that no one watches anymore (plus if you're still interested in watching those shows, watch on 7 Plus for free). However, I have bought a mid-tier anime series DVD which I first thought was a movie considering it goes for about 2 hours. The DVD was $5 for a new and sealed DVD of B-Daman Crossfire which is an average (but very Werribee CC's) price for its condition. Why very Werribee Cashies price? Because Werribee generally sell items at a higher price than other stores, yet generally cheaper than eBay and about on par with FB Marketplace prices. Werribee have to make their prices higher because of its business model of selling items double to three times the price offered when the items are presented to the Buy and Loans Department. Overall, I'd say this place has to be worth shopping once a month where you have friendly staff.”

“Check that you have the items you say you do before people waste their time getting to the store. The staff were at least polite, but this sort of mistake shouldn't happen.”

“Went in to speak to someone for advice re a bad purchase from another cash converters store online. Rob was awesome, so helpful and spent some time helping me double checking / testing my item and giving his direction on what to do addressing the other store. So grateful, I'll be back !”
