“I love Elcies Thrift Store at Semaphore. I go there often as the shop is clean, organised & I am able to but my husband’s shirts here. The shirts are good quality, with the occasional high-end labels and priced accordingly…the shirts I have bought are great & my husband is always happy with them. I’m happy to pay that little bit extra knowing that this charity shop is supporting many people in need. The volunteers are always helpful & happy! Congratulations on doing an excellent job. Many people are assisted by the excellent charity work that you do.”

“WAY OVER PRICED. Used to be a beloved op shop of mine I’d shop at often however the prices then rised astronomically. The overall vibe of the shop has changed to from a friendly atmosphere where you’d stay and look around to a store you feel like you just want to leave the moment you step in.”

“I went there to give 2 dresses,a belt and a beautiful glitter 3/4 sleeve top that didn't fit me,all brand new. (about $100 worth)I wanted to swap for something, I don't know what I even wanted, but I was told that they don't swap ( yet others do in North Haven), so I left my items and thought I won't return!,I felt duped. I'll go elsewhere!!, maybe back to North Haven in the future.Sad!! I should've taken my belongings back until I was in North Haven again. 🙄”

Not to mention the unexpected little treasure you might found, that you don't really need, but just have to have. Manageress, Angela and the volunteers are amazing, very helpful.”
