“This is a nice and a cozy shop in a great area but the prices are much higher than in other shops Please make the prices at least two times lower, like in other op shops. It would be great if you could review the prices”
“Great selection of products, clean and organized shop! Always find something here! But not a bargain shop, some of the items are extremely overpriced.”
“Terribly over priced junk. $10 for an old picture frame with print? $10 for an old children’s toy handbag? $15-$30 for old stinky T-Shirts, $80-$100 plus for second hand blazers and jackets…?! It’s not even good, trendy stuff, just worn in faded junk. I won’t go on, but this avid op shopper will stick to the well-priced, and relevant clothing in St Kilda based Op Shops for a local thrift browse. I really feel that this shop needs to decide whether they are a thrift store, or an up-market, second hand clothes store because you can’t be both! They also need to work out who they are catering to, because it is not for low income folk, or even seasoned thrifters. I’ve been popping in since they opened on my way past and today I decided that I will not be going in again.”
“Wish it was easier to browse the books available, which were all situated on a shelf behind the sales counter. It’s a little awkward especially if there are other customers waiting in line to pay which makes it even more difficult to get a good look.”
“Elwood’s only Op Shop is a reflection of the suburb itself, clean and upmarket, that doesn’t mean this op shop is expensive, everything is properly displayed and clean, clothes are neatly hanged on wooden hangers with clear pricing. The size of the shop is small but there is still leeway for a wheelchair or pram to go around.”
