“Not bad. Leederville one much better.”
“Was definitely over charged for a button up corduroy Uniqlo shirt yesterday I purchased from the men’s section yesterday. On my way out I noticed and went back to ask why I was charged $24 for just regular jeans and a top that weren’t golden seal items. The young man at the counter that served me was incredibly rude and dismissive and the tone he spoke to me in was just gross. He told me because the material is slightly thicker it makes it a jacket and wouldn’t listen when I said I grabbed it front the men’s shirt section.”
“Your reply (which you have conveniently deleted) referencing how you help the needy, ALL of your customers are needy, or the majority are. Price accordingly and stop filtering out the good stuff Edit, forgot to mention I asked to look at some toys that were in the front window and was told that display is changed weekly, to come back in a week!!! No lady, I don't live close and for a couple of meh toys, you missed out on a sale. Please consider putting better stock in this store. Where's all the old stuff? Clothing and modern crap is all you stock, same as all the big chain 'charity' aka retail stores. Do better and price cheaper, you would make 5 times the amount you do because so many people stop coming in altogether, which is not helping the needy. Btw the needy are people who shop in your store, rich people buy online or in shops like Myer, so claiming you're helping the needy is a crock of ......”
“Big store with a good range. Standard expensive op shop prices, set price so $9 for a pair of pants. If they were half the price, I would have bought a few and just donated back the ones I didn’t want. These days you’ve got to really want the item to justify the price tag. It’s a better model to price lower so people spend more then return what they don’t love later. You always want a customer to leave an op shop having bought something. Kitchenware was about as expensive as other op shops. You should low to get the items moving so they don’t sit there for months and months and you actually get some stock rotation. Plenty of donations always coming in. I did things differently when I volunteered in an op shop chain. That said, there was a big rack of $2 dresses and I found a couple in there that I’ll be able to tailor myself.”
“I recently moved around the area and I was super stocked to see that I was closed to a Good Sammy. I kid you not, I was going weekly, I loved going in just to see and the costumer service from the lady with the white hair and the gentleman that has the American accent is impeccable! But recently I went on a Sunday (completely different staff), and the lady from the counter was super lovely (short and ethnic) and she helped me and my partner grab a coat rack that was by the door and had a price marked. I asked the lady on the counter if it's for sale, and she said yes, due to having a price taped on it. And after I've made the purchase (with a top as well), Another lady (maybe she's the manager/owner, idk lol...) with black hair and glasses, came up to us and asked us where the hats from the rack are, (obviously the lovely lady that helped us took them behind the counter) and then was in shock when we bought an item that had a price tag? (normally they have stickers that indicate what items are for sale or not). The lady proceeds to act very annoyed that we bought the coat rack? I was laughing the whole time because she could kindly say that it wasn't for sale and I can return it haha. Anyways, on the way out she kept making comments saying ''oh well, enjoy it, enjoy the rack!!!", from the counter area while we were walking out, I don't understand why you had to make us an the girl on the counter feel bad for this??? This behaviour is very childish (I was laughing because I felt super bad for buying a donated item, lol) I've donated to this place and I used to go there every weekend but I will def take my donations and money somewhere else. I do feel bad for the other staff that has to work with her, I don't think a person like her should be in costumer service. Every other staff member is super lovely and wonderful and I completely understand why they turn away donations (They get donations everyday) But these donations won't be sold if she's around. Anyways, people please do not go there on Sundays if you don't want a mature woman acting childish towards you......”
