“Extremely cluttered store. Can barely walk around and access all items. Racks so full you can’t browse. Very over priced. Women’s tops in poor condition $16-$30. $30!!!!?? For second hand used / fair condition. Why?”
“When your shop is this cluttered it's a sign you're heavily overpriced. No one wants to pay the silly asking prices and in turn you get a cluttered mess of overpriced junk sitting for months. Wouldn't recommend at all.”
“This was a pretty cool shop, got a few items I have looked for and a few other great things.”
“Op shops exist to make secondhand goods affordable, reduce waste, and raise money for charity. But instead of doing that, this store seems to think that if they sell a few overpriced items, they’ll make more money completely ignoring the basic reality of sales volume. In reality, the more you sell, the more money you make. it’s just common sense. Fast fashion already produces over 100 billion garments per year, most of which end up in landfills or incinerated. This shop could be making a real difference by pricing things reasonably, selling more, and keeping clothes in circulation. That way, they’d accept more donations, distribute more clothing, and ultimately raise more money for charity. Instead, their strategy seems to be, overprice everything, accept barely any donations, and then wonder why nothing is selling. Worse, they’re actually encouraging people to buy new from Kmart and Target because it’s cheaper than their secondhand prices. The entire system of op shopping is supposed to make buying secondhand the better option, not drive people back to fast fashion. If they actually priced items reasonably, they’d move stock, bring in donations, and create a thriving, profitable cycle that benefits everyone. But instead, they’re piling up racks of overpriced junk, refusing donations, and missing the entire point of what an op shop is supposed to be. yes i know you do half price Saturdays, even then the prices are still ridiculously high. please reconsider.”
“The worst op shopping experience ever. Woman behind the counter accused my kids of stealing. For the record, they have never stolen a thing in their lives. She had a problem with them 'feeling' the lucky dips.. Seriously, this woman should not be working there. Totally ruined our day 😪 I definitely would not go there with kids. She obviously has a BIG problem with kids. She even said 'this place is not suitable for kids', whatever that means. They weren't doing anything wrong! Not running, talking loudly, not being rude, and definitely not stealing. Just an all round awful experience.”
