“Lovely shop, but unfortunately, my experience with the customer service was very disappointing. When I entered, I had to initiate a simple hello myself, as I wasn’t greeted by the staff member. When I went to purchase an item, the staff member questioned the price label, stating, “This isn’t our label.” Her tone and manner made me feel as though I was being accused of swapping price labels, which I found quite offensive and embarrassing. The staff member then spoke to another female employee about the label. The second lady explained that when the store first opened, they had received clothing from various places, so it was possible that the item had a label from elsewhere. While I appreciated the second staff member offering an explanation, it didn’t change how the original interaction made me feel. I felt as though my honesty had been questioned, and rather than being treated with kindness and understanding, I was brushed off in a manner that I found rude and dismissive. What should have been a simple and pleasant shopping experience left me feeling uncomfortable, embarrassed and unfairly judged. Considering Lifeline’s commitment to supporting mental health and wellbeing, I would have expected a more welcoming, respectful and compassionate approach towards customers. A simple explanation delivered with kindness would have made all the difference. People should leave a Lifeline store feeling valued and respected, not as though they have been accused of dishonesty over a price label that was already attached to an item.”

“Very nice shop. Spacious and easy to access. Clothing seemed overpriced. I did find some other items for a good price. An interesting shop, well worth a visit.”

“Selling items for 20-30% less then they are sold in store is Absolutely abysmal charging a premium on items you got for free is absurd You’ve got bulk of the same item on the selves for $70 where if I where to go buy them from the store there only $100 that is criminal you’re an opshop do better”
