“Absurdly overpriced op shop. Low quality things worth $2 - $7 at other op shops priced at $20. The nice woman behind the counter told me proudly that they have all their jewellery assessed and priced by a jeweller. As an op shop this is not something to be proud of! People come either in need or looking for a treasure. Yes it's a charity but the prices bear no relation to reality. Ditch the op shops here and go to Bondi. MUCH better stuff over there at far more reasonable prices.”
“Displays are lovely but whoever is doing the pricing is delusional. $18 for a used H&M tshirt? No thanks!”
“Great place for vintage finds and designer clothes. I have scored so many treasures from this awesome store. I go regularly and never leave disappointed. Jenny provides the best service, always smiling and kind to everyone. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!!!”
“Crazy expensive ! The prices are higher than in the actual shops ! The ladies who work there won’t leave you alone and follow your every step and movement which is absolutely annoying and makes you feel like you want to leave ASAP ! Whoever is putting prices on the tags has no clue about the reality. Do you actually realise that people who shop in op shops are also on very low income and need some support just like the ones that need donations from your sale ! Absolute disgrace this shop is !”
“I always walk the extra few minutes to donate clothes and books to Lifeline, rather than Salvos. Not only do I resonate more with Lifeline’s values and purpose, but staff are always very friendly and appreciative of donations, and take the time to say a sincere thank you. Note that while the prices for buying items are higher here, that’s the same for almost all op shops on the north shore.”
