“Only charge through card. Found a teddy for $25. Lifelines been getting way too expensive. This is disgusting. Refused customers about 5 minutes before closing. ”
“I've seen a lot of op shops, & this one is consistently one of the worst. The pricing is beyond expensive. I don't think management have much interest in having a high turn over of $ or product. But the weirdest thing is the way they price many "collectable" items with permanent marker. There are a lot of items that are no longer worth a cent, because they have been ruined by the price written directly on the item in texta. I've not seen this done anywhere else. Anything remotely old is priced above antique stores.”
“I went to this Lifeline today, and when I went to the check out, they said that they only accepted EFTPOS. So, I left the goods on the counter and told them that CASH IS KING and that on principle I wasn't going to use my card. The prices here are also too high. They should check Kmart before they price their goods. Kmart is so much more value for money! 😊”
“I visited the store today excited that it was a superstore and to say I was disgusted at the pricing is an understatement… for example this tin which should be $2 was being sold for $25…. There were so many beautiful art frames but they were going for a couple hundred. For a store that’s meant to be helping families that can’t afford expensive, they don’t exactly do that.”
“Don’t Bother. Unfortunately greed has taken over this op shop. Prices are unreasonable and not affordable for the average family income let alone anyone struggling, such a shame for those who really do need to rely on op shops to furnish their homes or dress their family. Items are dirty and in poor condition. Prices scribbled over items in marker.”
