“I was in the op shop today and was appalled by the behavior of one of the older ladies towards one of the younger girls. I overheard her discriminating against the younger girl telling her she was only a self diagnosed autistic person and that she silly and annoying for not wanting to throw away useful products in an aggressive manor. An op shop should should be a safe place for customers and team members especially if they are volunteering their time to help others. If that is the way volunteers are treated I cannot support this op shop especially also having family on the spectrum myself I find her comments completely demeaning.”
“Lovely people that work in the store, they are so willing to help anybody with anything they can. We needed some old blankets for packing for our move and they were so helpfull. What we bought will go back to another store once we have finished as they were in great condition and hopefully help someone else out.”
“Was driving past and thought I would call in. Found that no clothing is priced individually apart from their “exclusive items” leaving it up to staff to “name a price” at the checkout as prices signage says eg. Dresses from $6. One staff member was extremely rude and not concerned about the customers in the store but yet more interested in putting together a display. You would think customers looking to purchase items would be more important than a display. Rude volunteers/staff seems to be a trend here. Due to being a small op shop, room to roam is limited. When browsing down one of the other sections another staff member decided to browse in the exact same area and continued to push down the aisle making it impossible to have a decent look. As someone who loves op shopping and regularly visits all the amazing ones down the southern end of the coast, I would not recommend this op shop at all. Save your time and your money”
