“Think we just need to remember that people take the time and effort to out things to one side to drop it off and give goods a second life instead of landfill. I went to drop off a brand new Xmas tree in a storage bag along with a few other bits. Was interrogated at the reception area and told it’s not good enough. Guy before me had the same conversation. He was told they “don’t have room for cutlery”. Understand you can’t take absolutely everything, but you need to not be so picky about everything and that problem is due to the woman that works in the drive in reception!! It’s a charity shop love, not Dior on Collin’s St”

“Absolutely disgraceful treatment by one of the workers when we arrived to donate! Despite arriving to donate a heap of amazing and expensive items to them under difficult circumstances we were met with a lady who said ‘is this a deceased estate’ I replied yes, my sister unexpectedly passed away at a very young age and we had heaps of items including high value things to donate, I was told ‘I want to look in each box’ no worries at all, I get that you can only take what’s useful. I continue showing her boxes full of great items that she realised were worth $$$ so told me to put them in a container for her, Then as I was doing that, she said something, I thought she was talking to my son, But turned out she was talking to me and I didn’t realise so she yelled at me saying ‘are you listening to me’ I’m sorry I just lost my sister and thought I’d help out an organisation but instead got treated like shit! She was rude and condescending and an absolute disgrace of a human. I will NEVER EVER donate again! Wish I hadn’t taken anything to them in the first place! Outlook promote employing and giving those on NDIS a chance and opportunity for inclusion but I wouldn’t send anyone there let alone someone with a disability especially if they were around this lady!”

“Used to be a great place for a bargain. New manager has ruined the place. He’s jacked up the prices whilst lowering the quality of the stock. Impressive.”
