“Frustrating when you go to drop off a few bags of donations at 5.25pm, only for the doors to be locked up and staff behind the counter signalling they have already closed (when the website and store opening hours on the door state 5.30pm). I appreciate that the staff are volunteers, but when people are doing their best to provide stock for them to sell, it’s a little frustrating when staff can’t even spend a few seconds opening the door to gratefully accept.”

“This is absolutely disgusting when someone tries to keep your hard earned money right in your face against your will. Visited the store for exchanging one of many items with the invoice that I purchased with the given date. The manager made it so hard. She was pretty tactful in politely upsetting me. Asking me the name of the staff who I dealt with, where is the docket given with the invoice etc or else she will refund only a part of it. Based off principles I requested the exchange worth the same I paid as the invoice was evident enough on the purchase within the given date. And the item was absolutely intact and re-sellable. And she is advising me that she would refuse to provide any services if I keep trying justifying the request. I had to go back looking for another paper in the hot cooking day just so she satisfies her ego and refund. I would escalate this matter to higher above for pathetic experience, would never go back & would rather prefer some other store for any donations in the future, if so.”

“A large well stocked all Salvos especially in the homewares department. Someone is responsible for artfully laying out the items for sale in harmonious groups. The prices here are pretty good as well so make sure you allow yourself some time to have a good rummage around and there is plenty of clothing racks for those who are looking to bag a fashion bargain. The store is well laid out so parking is a little bit hard to come by in downtown Riverwood.”
