“This place is huge. Lots to look at and its very clean and tidy. 3 stars because it can be really expensive, considering its all donated for free. Alittle too pricey for me. Staff are friendly.”
“Checked opening time on the website 9am ..... Got there at 9.25 and was told to come back at 10 0,clock by a surley woman as they were busy !!! 5 large bags of quality clothing Donated to "Make a Wish Foundation" instead”
“Called to clarify that I could bring particular items to donate. All went well till one old bloke was very rude to me. I jumped back in my car and donated the rest of the items to another Op shop who were totally appreciative. What a shame as everybody else was lovely. Won’t be going back to donate.”
“It’s moved! Look for parking near the corner of Pacific Way and Mahoneys Road. And it’s larger, quite a lovely layout, and has genuine bargains! Lovely staff too. If you’re in the centre, find Woolies, head one level up, then head outside and turn left. You won’t see it from those doors, but it’s a minute’s walk.”
“The Good - plenty of parking, new and spacious store . CDs are reasonably priced at mostly $2 each and a wide selection available .Also plenty of dvds available at reasonable prices . Clothing is also reasonably priced and there is a motherload to choose from. The bad - Records tend to be way over priced. The Lps on the counter were priced at between $10 and $15 and needless to say nobody was looking through them. There were no collectables such as the the Beatles, Stones or Elvis, just run of the mill 80's stuff. There were also a box of 45s (small records) priced at $5 each also mainly 80's songs. Most other op shops charge between $1 -$3 for Lps and up to $2 for the 45s. There is a suitcase of $1 Lps at the rear of the store containing the easy listening records that are hard to sell, but these have been well picked over. Books tend to be on the expensive side with an average price of around $4 each for a recent paperback.”
