“Best op shop I’ve been to!! Lots of high end brands for cheap. It’s going to be my regular now.”

“Difficult to park to even drop a donation. And the staffs there are just rude: "not our problem that you can't get a park". Guess you don't want people to donate or shop there even when others are trying to support the cause!! Outright apathetic and hypocritical!!”

“I don’t usually drop reviews but this experience was so disappointing that I have to drop something here. The tall girl who worked on 2/11/24 really has poor customer service. She was blatantly rude while serving us during purchasing. One example, she ran out of paper to wrap fragile items and said “there’s nothing I can do about it” with an eye roll, we understand that you’ve ran out of paper but there are other ways to deliver that answer to a customer. We also understand that you may be exhausted or in a bad mood but we weren’t asking for much—we only wanted to purchase our items. And that wasn’t all of it. But besides this encounter, we’ve always encountered wonderful staff before.”

“I've been donating and shopping here for years and am sad to see this Salvo store turning into a money grubby business instead of the non-profit organisation that supported the circular economy it once was. Don't be fooled by their marketing of "circular" economy, it's come to the stage where they're declining recycled bags (reusable shopping bags) so Salvos can upsell their branded shopping bags. Apparently it's by order of the head office, as the manager cold heartedly said "we can't sell recycled bags ($$$), we only accept donations we can sell". All this is done to squeeze another dollar or so from already price sensitive customers?! Pricewise this store has always been expensive compared to other thrift shops (not necessarily better goods). Supporting a good cause while keeping things out of landfill at cheaper price seems like a win win. But no one likes to be ripped off, some donated items have price tags higher than new ones sold in stores. Price for Anko/Ikea/Target branded items are pretty transparent with a simple Google search, was shocked to consistently see them pricing set pieces separately and at times the SINGLE unit price is higher than the brand new SET price! Knitting needles are 50c to $1 at other thrift shops, they're selling comparable ones for $3-$5.... could have gone to the shopping centre and bought a whole set of brand new ones cheaper... so sad to see the Salvos transforming into a $$$ focused organisation.”

“Clean and well presented but it does lack any cheap pricing, definitely a mid-upper class salvos. I haven't wound up buying anything here due to the prices being a little unreasonable upon visits for clothing, but kitchenware did seem well priced despite me not actively wanting to buy any of it.”
