“Cold, sterile and more expensive than Facebook and eBay. This place used to be a great visit. Will never visit again. Horrible!!!!!!!”

“One of the most expensive op shops in the western suburbs. Theres lots to look through, it's a good size, the staff are fine and there is a good variety of stuff. Most pieces of clothing and other misc. bric a brac are 30-40% more expensive than other other notoriously pricey Salvos stores. I don't mind paying more for quality but there wasn't much quality to be had here. Crazy mark ups on standard clothing, low to mid tier branded stuff, Kmart, Jeanswest, recent footy stuff, and other run of the mill dept. stores Relying on online pricing way too much without understanding the aspects of your supposed values of your organisation. I know these days most charities aren't 100% NFP but the extreme overpricing is obvious.”

“Mind bogglingly, staggeringly overpriced. Wouldn't go out of your way to visit, items that you see for $2 in other oppies are $8 here, eg. the Hunchback Notre Dame glasses. I get that the suburb is more gentrified these days, but easily the most expensive Salvos in the West. Needs a broom swept through the joint, new management, new pricing methods and a refresher on the ethics, morals of the organisation.”

“I thought twice about writing this review. I see the other comments mimic my own thoughts. It is very obvious that nobody from the Salvation Army bothers to read these insights into the store price process & what the customers are saying. The prices at this store are ludicrous. I was buying a couple of items & watched as a mother was charged over $60 for a couple of children’s books, a toy, one pair of shoes & winter jacket for her young son. Shocked (as she should be) the mother asked her son which items would he most prefer because she obviously couldn’t afford all the items. I was so angry watching what was happening. I told the mother that I will pay for her sons winter coat as she tried to work out what to put back. I commented to the woman on the register that the total cost was way out of the normal price range that people pay at other stores & similar establishments, she seemed surprised. Can l remind the people who work there that ALL your products & clothing are DONATED, they are USED items. This store has the longest shelf life of any second hand shop because they rather charge unrealistic prices & let things sit there rather than do as they should & price items for fast sales. Even private second hand stores sell their items at a lower price point than this store. I absolutely do not recommend this store”

“The prices are hideous! A windbreaker for $40! a fake leather old jacket for $85! Whoever is doing the pricing needs a reality check and should come back to the main cause which is to help people not make money out of them.”
