Genuine people wanting to help protect cats, as well as helping the environment by limiting waste and encouraging sustainable shopping by selling donated second hand goods (and some new). What a fantastic idea. You can find some great items, prices and treasures here! Layout, structure, policies, ect are wonderful. Very well organised. Lots of signs up that give thorough information about the shop, how your purchase contributes to the shelter, and plenty of other wow factors! The volunteers, as well as customers, are well looked after, valued and appreciated, and friendly. I would definitely recommend visiting the Cat Protection Op Shop! “If you really want some bargains, go round to the back of the store and check out what they throw out. They often discard really good items because they either don't believe they will sell or just don't have room to store them. My friend found some lovely empty but very decorative french perfume bottles that she displays on her dressing table. Also some vintage cups (without saucers) that she grows succulent plants in. All for free.”
