“A lady waited to be served, had trouble with her card, all ladies that were serving went to one end of the counter and gossiped about the lady having trouble with her card. Took the items she had already paid for down to the end of the counter with the gossiping sales staff - so so so so rude, snobby, offensive women - shame on you all!”
“It was my first visit looking for yarn and I totally understood that stocks and the supply of them depends on donations, so it can be a bit hit and miss, for that reason. All I could find were a few bags hanging outside (some were Mill end bags from another store) and some baskets with a few bits and pieces inside, organised by colour. There were huge stocks of fabrics and buttons and lots of sewing paraphernalia, but no luck for me in the yarn department. Of course, this is no fault to the volunteers working there or any other staff. I’ll be back another day and hope to have much better luck next time.”
“I've only just started sewing and was trying to get some parts for my nan's old machine and as well as some fabric for a costume. The lady serving was incredibly helpful and showed me around to find everything I would need to get started. Thank you so much!”
“A huge Thank You to Debbie and The Nest Community for the delightful beginner sewing class I attended this morning. An excellent hands-on workshop suitable for those with zero experience to those wanting a nice refresher on sewing machine skills. I felt very welcome and supported and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The satisfaction of hand-making your own things is incredible. Looking forward to next level classes!!”
“A great place to buy some fabric button, zips and a really nice community vibe with coffee shop nearby. Great parking great place to pick up some fabric for a new project.”
