“Rude, unpleasant woman who barked at me, “what are you here for?”, and then refused to accept clothes. A nasty shop to which I will never return. Sacred Heart next door had a pleasant man who was more than happy to accept a big bag of brand new clothes.”

“I've had a few horrible interactions with the staff at Posh Opp shop but my most recent one was what lead me to this review. I have noticed that the women behind the counter openly (and loudly) talk about other staff members and customers in the store and not very nice things either... I came into this store recently and enquired about a scarf in the glass front window, the women got it out for me to have a look and when I saw the price (which was very expensive / nearly at RRP pricing...) I kindly told the staff I was no longer interested. The women then loudly said to the other women behind the counter that "I probably cant afford it and thats so sad I cant afford it for my mum". To assume this is just absolutely disgraceful... Yes the prices are high here but quite frankly I could've just gone to the brand of the scarf and got one brand new for newly the same price as in this op shop was advertising. Will not be going back here again.”

“Great op shop - lots of choice and unique items! I totally understand that the staff there are volunteers, but I've had quite a few experiences of them being rude (I live in the area, so have visited many times over the years). Some of them are lovely and helpful, others are pretty agressive. I bought a jumper today and was chatting to three women on the counter. When I got to my car noticed the security tag was still on it. I went straight back in and the woman who took my payment wasn't at the counter, but one of the others that I chatted to was there. She immediately started asking how much I paid for it and seemed to blame me for the tag being left on? Very strange reaction. It's not uncommon for the workers to complain about each other or customers loudly behind the counter. I've also seen workers walk the floors and if they find any out of joint, the loudly accuse whoever is shopping in the vicinity. Again, I completely understand they're volunteers and I'm alsways polite when I'm in the store. But doesn't seem to make a difference. Pricing can be higher than other op shops, but you can still find some incredible items and bargains!”
