The Silver Lining

“Ive shopped here over the years. Always loved the shop, character and array of unique items. I had bought some shoes and a jump suit the other day. At the point of sale I asked for a better deal. These items are definitely at the top end of the price range. She told me their rent had gone up 3 times in the last four years and did give me $5 discount. My heart felt like I wanted to support a local business even though I can get items the same cheaper. On taking them home I realized that the jumpsuit was more see through than I thought in different lighting. You could see my nipples so I asked for a refund. She said they would give me $65 out of the $75 I paid. After suggesting that I sell it myself. I said I paid $75 though. When I took the item in for the refund I was told I was to be given $65 back that the $10 was for all the mucking around and while I was mucking around on the phone to you someone stole something. I said, “My gosh that’s not my fault”. She said “ Thats some reasons why Im taking $10 out of the $75”. Needless to say I wont be back and wont be recommending people to go there as I once was. I just took the money and walked out.”
