“Lady who served me didn’t apply the 50% off (coloured) ticket to a clothing item. Asked for a receipt, showed her, and wanted a refund; she apologised but refused to refund me. Usually I shop here, however prices are expensive for a second hand goods, like $75 for a pj set in the photo. Will be supporting Salvos for now on.”

“Just talking to a friend in Canberra that called for help, she has 2 young kids and is struggling, like alot of single parents would be this time of year and in our economy. Paul there suggested she gets herself a credit card, and then mocked her for not having savings. That's appalling Paul, and if you were still open, I'd be coming in to tell you that to your face.”

“I’ve bought some great stuff from this Vinnies but it is over priced. It gets very busy and there isn’t much space in the aisles so it can be unpleasant / overwhelming. Worth a visit but manage your expectations. In particular the art work is over priced. I’ve also bought crockery a few times that turned out to be cracked so do your own QA as you shouldn’t assume the condition is good. It’s in a good location but you have to pay for parking. Update: I continue to have mixed feelings about this op shop. It’s worth a visit but overpriced and I had the oddest experience with a staff member today who followed me around while I tried on shoes and then wouldn’t let me keep hold of them while I considered whether or not to purchase them. So I’ve moved my rating down to 2*. Still worth a visit but lower your expectations.”

“So many items priced over $100 that are insanely overpriced. So much cheaper online, anywhere else or even brand new on sale. I'm so curious which suckers enable this business model, as both times I've checked, a year apart, it was the exact same scenario”

“It's overpriced, there is no room to move around, a lot of damaged goods/clothes. Workers are nice only when taking your money! 5 items cost $60, better buying new.”
