“I love this shop. People forget the staff are volunteers and they are always busy. Be kind to them and you'll get looked after. I've given and bought a lot here and I always find a way to get a smile out of the staff. I honestly don't think people have any idea of what the staff have to deal with. They do a great job. To the lady who complained because she let her kid play with things while she shopped, seriously get it together, it's not a creche, it's a shop and you're just making work for the volunteers. To the man with bitched about a bonus dvd, stop getting cranky over 50c. I think the world needs to stop and be grateful for what we have and be nicer to the people who volunteer in charity shops. I love Vinnies Smithfield and the ladies who are always nice to me. 5 stars.”

“I'm so disappointed in this store. (Actually most vinnies stores) I came in with my 3 year old, who was quietly playing while I had a look at the over stocked and OVER priced items in store. When I went to leave I went to go put the few toys he was playing with back, but a staff member jumped in a started moodily putting them back. I said to her, ow please dont put them but we will do it. She ignored me and kept going. I was standing in front of her and nicely said it another 2 times. She totally ignored me and brushed me off. I was so upset unless this lady was deaf she was so rude. They have kids shoes for $20 that are so run down but because they had a brand on them they price it up. I heard the staff saying look it up on ebay and price what they have it listed as. So disappointing, you get all these items for free and over change. Your store is so packed no stock is moving because your prices are unrealistic and way over priced. So greedy!!!!!”

“love this place, the ladies volunteering are always so sweet and put so much effort into the places presentation even colour sorting alot of the ceramics and such. super recommend i always find nifty stuff, especially if your into sowing like i am cool fabrics”
