“Don’t think I could spot an item for less then $10, even the older style run down clothes were $10. Shameful for a second hand shop ”
“Used to love shopping here for a bargain.. can't afford to shop here like your other stores. To expensive”
“Very disappointed and frustrated with customer service on Saturday 19/10/24. A senior staff didn't even fully pull out the clothes I wanted to donate. She said she could not take it and walked away. The quality of my clothes is not poorer than what they have in the shop. I have visited this shop several times. If they stopped taking the donation for the moment they should advise the customer when customer approach, apologise and thank you them for bringing the donations. It takes time and effort to come to the shop with a heavy bag of donations. Do not underestimate people's kindness. This lady makes me feel that my donation is not good enough. Her behaviour is disgusting and inappropriate. Manager should give her a proper customer service training. Staff's conversation in staff room is usually loud and constant. It is like shopping in someone's house where familie members are constantly chatting. Books are overpriced considering their damaged condition and small size. Salvos' books are much cheaper.”
“Visited to thrift and one of the workers were very impolite and rushful. When making purchase she held the items for desr life acting like we were gonna steal it, i understand she may be doing her job but to make customers feel unwelcomed isnt part of it. As she rung us up for the items she proceeded to put her hands in our faces yelling 'stop! your reciept'. I appreciate giving us our reciepts but no need to yell nor shove you hanfs in our faces. The experience was overall ruined by this lady's customer service.”
“A lovely op shop right in the centre of Blacktown. Plenty of variety with loads of women's clothes (as always), shoes, jewellery. A good collection of infant clothes. Ok selection of books. A lot of jigsaw puzzles. Stacks of crockery, including bakeware and I even spotted a Pyrex or two. A lot of glassware. There is certainly enough that you could set up a new home with all your dinnerware. I didn't spot much cutlery but I noticed some were kept behind the counter, not sure why. Absolutely lovely, friendly staff when I visited on a Tuesday afternoon.”
