Salvos Stores Braybrook

“Ridiculous prices eg $25 for fake sports jerseys you can buy in Bali for $10!!”

“In my opinion, this shop is the best salvos with the best selling prices. The goods sold are worth the price. Very good quality and very interesting promo. This store is better than savers. Sorry, savers”

“utterly disgusting and disgraceful prices!!! you should be ashamed of yourselves to be pricing secondhand clothing at that price!!! i have noticed in overhearing many staff talk, that many you people who work there seem to fancy yourselves as some fashion savvy industry experts, what? because you worked retail at myer or checkout at coles? uhh no you are just grubs who know nothing..”

“Average range of items, friendly staff and a decent sized store but Salvos Braybrook have gotten quite greedy with their increased prices within the past year and a half. Asking $25 for fake soccer shirts, local club shirts and modern AFL polo shirts is mind boggling. It makes more sense to spend an extra $10 to get a new, "in season" AFL shirt instead. If I want to pay eBay prices Ill go to eBay instead - your volunteer staff should rely less on eBay pricing on items(and also a manager not parrotting about it to a colleague in store, saying you told a customer to buy something off ebay instead when they pointed out you were asking the similar pricing to eBay) which are donated, and more so consider and implement the purpose and supposed ethos of the organisation you work for when pricing items provided for free. Note that one "manager" actively changes certain coloured price tags certain garments so that they don't fall under the 50% off days they have. These items will instead sit there rather than being sold off at a discount when they ideally should, which is counter productive considering how this store struggles with replenishment of new stock and moving things. The other male manager is open to discounts which makes things more palatable, but I can see this store being turfed just like Footscray Salvos which also had similar issues.”

“Thought the prices were a bit high. But its all for a good cause I hope. Staff were busy running around doinf their thing.”
