“I decided to come in because I had no classes. At first I loved the beautiful setting inside, music, decor and all. After my order was taken by a lovely girl I went to go find my seat and wait for my food and tea. I get my toastie 30 minutes after sitting down and the same girl says my tea will be out shortly. They must’ve forgotten because I takes another hour or so and they still don’t come with my tea, I see other people who ordered tea get there’s before min. Utterly disappointed in their customer service. I left without getting my tea. Overall the toastie I had was lovely, a little burnt on the edge and dry. Do better next time Press Book House.”

Extremely smooth and flavoursome coffee - one of the nicest long blacks I've tried in my life and an exceptional cappucino with wonderful froth and chocolate powder. The pastries, cakes and toasties are all high quality, the location is excellent and the atmosphere is second to none. Excellent book collection and vibe within the Cafe and just overall one of the best and purest coffee experiences available in the Newcastle-Hunter region. 10/10.”
