“I decided to travel from the western suburbs to try some op shops in a different area. I was absolutely shocked at the prices in here. Large majority of the store is sorted into “designer items” which aren’t designer at all. Most of the women’s clothing is above $15 with some items asking for $25 and above. Just pure greed here. You’re a charity!!”

“The team of staff and volunteers at Salvos Abbotsford are brilliant. In clearing out our mother's house, we wanted to make a donation of furniture and household items to an op shop. I rang Salvos Abbotsford, and spoke to a brilliant member of the team. After sending them a full list of the items for donation, we arrived today, and the team had made space, and - despite the huge amount of unplanned donations that they have to process on a weekly basis - were ready to accept everything. I strongly urge people wishing to make large donations to contact the store and schedule the delivery. The work that the team does must be exhausting, yet they are friendly, courteous, and so understanding to deal with. #loveyourlocalopshop”
